Texas Record Snow Feb 11 & 12 2010

OK, so we had a ton of snow Feb 11, and I decided it had to be captured on film--well, on disk anyway.  I am including a few of the best pictures.  I was out working on Feb 12, since the roads were mostly clear.  I was all over Palo Pinto County and Possum Kingdom Lake, so the pictures are from all over that part of Texas.  My parents had their power go out, and I had a nice time visiting with them while they stayed with me until their power came back on today.  It was wonderful getting to spend time with them, I love my parents!

You will probably be seeing a lot more pictures here, since I just got a new camera - a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS.  Very very nice!  I think I am becoming addicted to photography!  I may even take a class or something.  My niece and mom are both doing 365 days in pictures, which does sound fascinating, but I a not sure if I want to do that, or just take pictures of the daily things that fascinate me or amuse me or just make me smile.  We shall see!

Anyway, here are some of my favorite pictures.
