Not even cool - Buddy came up, but his paws one the chair so I could pet him. When I put down my coffee cup - my FIRST cup---he followed it with his nose and then sneezed in it. When I looked at him and said, "Really, you couldn't have turned your head for that?" He just looked at me and then licked the cup of coffee, all around the rim. Do you think he is tryng to tell me something?

Buddy is such a GOOD DOG! Some man came to the door and he went running to it and stood guard, barking like he would tear anyone up that tried anything in his house (I admit to being a bit startled myself, never heard him sound so....mean). The guy backed off about 3 steps as I came to the door (the glass door was shut, front open) and just waited, staring at Buddy. I snapped my fingers told Buddy... to sit, he did while growling menacingly at the guy. I told him to hush and stay and he settled back a bit but didn't budge from his position guarding me and the door. Turns out the garbage man lost his wallet on my street and was just looking for it, but I was impressed with Buddy. Not only did Buddy effectively guard me & the house, he listened when I told him to sit and when I told him to stay, he knew to sit back and stay alert. He did the same thing earlier when the FedEx guy delivered my work computer, but that time when I told him to stay, he did even when I opened the door and walked out to sign for it. He wasn't happy, he growled some to warn the fedex guy, but he stayed put when I told him. Good guard dog! That's my Buddy!
